How do I know that a platform lift or stairlift is safe?
A lifting platform or stairlift that has been risk assessed, EC type tested, certified and approved by an accredited European Notified body, which carries a Declaration of Conformity, and has an affixed CE mark, is officially declared safe for any person to use and can be legally sold in any EU member state irrespective of other national standards or regulations.
